On of the more important things to do when starting out your journey into digital marketing is making sure you get found on google- the largest and most used search engine out there. Here are 7 important steps to make sure you get found on Google.

1.Submit your URL to google

Submit your website to Google. That way, you can accelerate the indexing process of your website, and inform Google about any important updates. 2. Google Ads

The good ol’ pay per click. You set up a list of relevant keywords related to your business, create Ads that will appear whenever someone searches for your keywords and you pay an amount according to how many clicks your Ad received. With Google’s improved search algorithm, Google Ads can be a cost effective way to reach large audiences and convert sales from people who are already searching for the products or services you provide.1 Of course with Google Ads, as with many paid things, the more you pay, the more likely you will be to appear on people’s search results. However, you don’t need to break the bank or match the recommended bidding price for the keywords to get results. You can be smart with the keywords you use and the structure of your Ad.

3.Create updated, relevant and interesting content

To have a high ranking in organic search (visitors that land on your website as a result of unpaid “organic” search results), your website must contain updated, relevant and interesting content.

Before, companies relied on random link-building to improve organic search results. This means that they would make tons of links just for links’ sake, but the content in the landing pages was not relevant or engaging. The Google algorithm is changing and improving constantly. 5 Be Mobile Friendly
